Sri Lanka had a poor performance against South Africa in their first group stage match. Sri Lanka's first innings was all out for just 77 runs. Nortje performed not very well in the IPL tournament that ended a few days ago, but in today's World Cup match, he bowled brilliantly in their first match and he conceded just seven runs in four overs took 4 wickets. Sri Lanka try to defend but South Africa chased down 78 runs in 98 balls and they won by 6 wickets. Playing on such pitches in World Cup format like T20 can be questionable.
Yes it is true that Sri Lanka team had a poor performance against South Africa but I will say that it's there batting performance not the bowling performance. Because they are quiet good at boiling performance today if we see the scoreboard then South Africa team win this match but it took 16.2 overs and they also lose their four wicket.
Actually I am hoping that South Africa gonna be win in 10 over against Sri Lanka but unfortunately they also lose much we get in under 100 run in the regards of T20 format. Anyway I have been seen few times that Sri Lanka batting line up is gradually downish I think Sri Lankan team management shoot keep I on this for the next tournament.
Very bad performance from the Lankan team everyone was not expecting this kind of Performance which shows zero resilience against the peace attack of South Africa. This is not what you have to do on the World Cup stage where everyone is seeing you especially your country people just look at the USA the way they played indeed it's against CA but it's still a team and the pressure of the World Cup and the USA Playing it for 1st time but they performed brilliantly well.
