I’m not so sure about the business ideas part, it could be because I don’t frequent the Economy board as much. But I think such discussions would be common in local boards, the forum is mixed with people from different countries so businesses that are successful in x country may not be as successful in another country.
But the local boards are also part of the forum, so even if business ideas are supposed to be discussed on the local boards, it is still okay that way because it is still part of the forum, so this means business ideas took place on the forum. Furthermore, not only in the local boards, people discuss business ideas in the economy board, and many discussions have taken place over there. Although you are right, countries are doing different business. Successful business in Nigeria may not be the same in another country since the demand is different, but still, business discussions take place in the English boards, especially the economy boards, not only LB.
