And I believe that a gambler who cannot ignore greed in himself is those who do not understand how gambling really is, most likely what they know is only the chances of winning in gambling but not paying attention to other possibilities such as defeat which will actually always be a part. This means that most likely those who will be able to ignore greed are those who only make gambling a place to have fun, because they know that it is too risky to do various actions that tend to be excessive in gambling.
The individuals that see gambling as a place to make money can also avoid greed and not only those that see gambling as a place for entertainment. I think it depends on every individual as greed is a personal thing that if you do not allow it to take control of you, it would not have any effect on your life. There are some individual that they might be gambling only as they want the ale profits and not for entertainment reasons yet they can control their emotions and not mix it with their business.
A gambling mistakes that I always see many gamblers still making is thinking that they can win the next bets immediately after they just won their last bet but many of them don't know that it was just luck that made them to win and not by their strategy or anything else therefore they don't have the lucky charm to win again and when they play, they are mostly going to lose and then they get frustrated and want to play more just to win.
