Afghanistan vs Uganda
The first innings of the Afghanistan vs Uganda match has ended. Uganda won the toss and sent Afghanistan into bat. From the start, Ibrahim Zadran and Gurbaz put on a brilliant partnership of 154 off 88 balls. I thought Afghanistan would score 200 plus runs but they didn't play very well last few overs. However, they took only 31 runs in the last six overs and did not hit any boundaries. Uganda will enter the field in a short time to achieve the target of 184 runs. Afghanistan's bowling line is very good, they are a strong team in T20 format and I think it will only go in their favour.
Ibrahim Zadran and Gurbaz batting responsibly for Afghanistan, 145 runs were collected by the Afghanistan team from the bats of these two batsmen. When these two Afghanistan batsmen were batting, it seemed that Afghanistan could almost give Uganda a target of 200 plus runs. But after the two outs, the batsmen in Afghanistan were under pressure. After the outs of Ibrahim Zadran and Gurbaz, if any batsman could have batted responsibly, he could have given Uganda a 200 plus target. The Ugandan batsmen are under a lot of pressure after losing 3 wickets in the beginning to bat against the target of 184 runs given by Afghanistan. We all know that Afghanistan's bowling line is strong and if they bowl well they can beat Uganda by a big margin today. However, if any Ugandan batsman can bat responsibly, the game will be competitive even if they can't win the match against Afghanistan. But the way Afghanistan's bowlers have been bowling from the start looks like Uganda will be all out before they can score too many runs.
