I don’t see how that is a wrong move, being the best doesn’t last forever and at some point a player would have to leave a team and if you look at his age you will know that it’s time to join the Saudi league. He is 31 and will soon be 32 so i think it’s high time Liverpool go out annd look for a younger goalkeeper just as they did with other positions. This is the perfect time for him to make a move to Saudi Arabia league and earn more money for his family since he has limited years to spend.
If Liverpool hit the market they will definitely find a younger goalkeeper to replace him.
At the moment I think I have to agree that it is a wrong move, in as much as Allison is growing old he definitely has fews again to give at least three more years in the top flight. Yes this moment or summer will be perfect time for them to sign a new and young goalkeeper, the few years he will spend with Allison Will actually make him to gain more experience and grow through cup games. Selling off Allison at the moment without a worthy replacement is a huge risk, the club at this moment where big and experienced players are Leaving they need him to lead and guide the lads too.
Their link with James Trafford, the current Burnley goalkeeper is definitely a good catch to me. Lad caught my attention when the England youth team won the Euro and also how he faired with the relegated Burnley. He was one of their most consistent players for the season. He will surely be a good successor to Allison
