Erik Ten Hag should have deserved to be fired, especially since Manchester United's performance this season has been very disappointing. Even this season, finishing in 8th place and only collecting 60 points was the worst record since the David Moyes era.
I know Ten Hag performance wasn’t really good last season, and I never expected Manchester United to end the season at the position which they ended it, but from the way Manchester United played last season, I won’t be blaming only the coach for their poor performance, the players always have to be blamed, they have to change their mentality also, some players played like they are not really ready to play for the team, or they are not paid for what they are doing. If Ten hag is being sacked, there might not really be much difference with the new coach that will be coming if the players don’t change their mentality.
Manchester United's performance this season has been disappointing due to their poor finish to the season. Erik ten Hag has failed to put in a lot of effort this season, but as we've seen so many seasons Manchester United have been in good form and their position has been fantastic. It is, however, correct that not only the coach should be blamed here but also the players have many mistakes due to which they could not finish this season with good results. But the players have tried hard enough but if they can perform well with responsibility then maybe we can finish in a good position. But I also think that coach Erik ten Hag would have had a position in the ball position if he had been able to work harder and get his boys to perform better. Yes, changing the coach can never lead a team to progress, but if the mentality of the players is not attracted to the game, then it is not possible to move the team forward in any way. So Manchester United need to first correct the mistakes of the players and work well, only then they will be in good position for next season.
