I feel so bother and that is why I decided to ask this question.

We keep talking about gambling addiction and how bad it is to become addicted, does it mean that addicted gamblers lose money all the time? Do you means those guys doesn't win anything at all? Can they not be lucky to win jackpots?

On this board, we are always referring addiction as a terrible thing but does it mean that those addicted gamblers doesn't win money, are they only bounded to losses upon losses?
Don’t get the word addiction twisted.
In most cases addicted gamblers are the losers in gambling and mostly the ones who chase after their loses and making it seem their lives depend on a particular win.
From my personal observations, I’ve come to realize that, when a gambler makes consistent losses without taking any redress, then his tend to be addressed as an addicted gambler but when the reverse is the case and there are winnings, I mean remarkable winnings, irrespective of how frequent and often such a gambler gambles, he or she might be addressed as a professional gambler.

Now answering your questions directly, an addicted gambler is one who gambles frequently without making any obvious wins and tends to chase after their losses.
