Coach is not the only challenge for Manchester United. Manchester United needs more players to strengthen their squad, the available players seem like they are not strong enough to continue playing football. In my opinion, we can blame Ten Hag because since he refuses to get young players who can improve their games when other teams are busy signing many players, Manchester United will be talking about one player since the Premier League games ended, they have been planning to sign one right back. I don't know if Manchester United is facing final difficulties that's why they don't want to buy big players.
Ten Hag's and Thomas Tuchel, are all the same. Bayern Munich got to the Champions League semifinal because of the quality players they had, despite that they have quality players Tuchel failed to manage the club. I don't want Manchester United to appoint a coach who failed to manage his previous club.
In addition, Unai Emery is far better than Ten Hags in the Premier League this season, they performed very well and finished the season in 4th position, I don't think Ten Hags had a good season at Manchester United this season only because they won the FA Cup. Aston Villa finished last season at 7 places, while Manchester United ended in 4th place. I believe that Unai Emery has learned from last season because Aston Villa's performance was quite different from last season and Manchester United's performance keeps getting worse. If we're not for the FA Cup trophy they won this season Manchester United would not play in any competition next season.
Of course when a club doesn’t perform at their best in a previous season, there are mnay factors that could result in that. Manchester United are faced in this kind of situation and yes you might pin it down on the coach but there’s also a need for a strong squad with enough depth. Yes this is one of the problem of the current Man United squad as they are not enough players and this is now a big worry especially for the fans of the club.
I think the club has a way they get their players and this is causing huge worry for the fans as they can’t seem to point out if it could be as a result of financial constraint. The club doesn’t want to go for young talents rather already made players and to an extent this kind of approach doesn’t really pay off. Tuchel and Ten Haag are 2 different kind of coaches and sincerely I feel Tuchel is way above ETH as he took a depleted Chelsea team to the UCL Final and won it, he also took Bayern to the semis and almost won Real Madrid.
Yes he’s had fall out with the board but that doesn’t underrate his class tactically. Emery at Aston Villa is one coach that’s improved this Villa side overtime and you can see that in their performance. This is an indication that Man United doesn’t need to dwell on just the winning of FA Cup as a line for success and overlook their poor performance in the league as they immediately need a very tactical coach to help them out right now.
