If Chelsea management is too hasty in hoping for a quick fix, then they will only be wasting time and money. The best approach I can expect from them next season is to give the same coach at least 2 to 3 seasons to develop, of course one season will not be enough.
New coaches require adaptation and implementation of good strategies for their players. He needs to implement many new things in his players and of course that takes time and patience.
