I understand that a lot of people are saying Osimhen has been able to improve his skills and also improve as a player with Napoli in the past. Why would he not be able to do that in the future as well? We have to understand that maybe this is the maximum potential he can actually reach with Napoli. Just look at Mbappé. We all know that him going to Real Madrid is definitely going to increase his skills as a player and enhance his ability to play with the team. I highly doubt that he would have been able to build that with PSG. Because we all have seen what he does in the PSG squad. But maybe the case of Mbappé is a special one because he also had authority over other players in the squad. But we can easily relate that to Osimhen. Maybe if he does not go to another club, maybe another better one, how do we know if his improvement is going well or not? Don’t get me wrong. This can absolutely backfire like it happened with Lukaku when he went to the English Premier League from Serie A as well.

So true. Maybe this should also be a consideration for Osimhen himself. Reflecting on Lukaku's experiences is truly a quite sad story. Although initially Lukaku was very good when he was still playing at Inter Milan. In fact, he scored 47 goals in 72 appearances at Inter Milan, which made Chelsea interested in bringing him to Stamford Bridge. And at that time Lukaku was also brought in for a very high transfer fee. But it turned out he didn't fit in at Chelsea and Chelsea didn't even want to use him anymore. This really makes Lukaku's career a little uncertain. So for the last two seasons he has only been a loan player. First, he returned to Inter Milan, the club before he went to Chelsea. Then on to Rome. And it turns out that Lukaku is only suitable for an Italian club because he still makes a big contribution to the Italian club. But somehow he couldn't do much at Chelsea. And yes the worry is that Osimhen could suffer the same fate. But the decision is not entirely in Osimhen's hands. Because if the club wants to let him go then Osimhen can't do much either. But if he stays at Napoli then under Conte's coaching he has the potential to become a great player again.
