Ireland batting first today scored only 96 runs and got all out in 16 overs. Ireland's batting performance in today's match was very poor and disappointing due to which very few scores were produced in the match. But we already confirmed that they will not win today's match against India and India was selected as the favorite team. However, as the Indian team is strong in batting and bowling, they have easily defeated Ireland in today's match. And right now India is fighting to win, and they are able to win very easily. However, in today's match, Virat Kohli did not perform very well, he got out with just one run. However, today's match was really interesting as India won by 8 wickets against Ireland by a huge margin.
Each team has been divided into different groups and we have seen the performances of the first few matches as proof that the group stage matches will not be that interesting. Perhaps the contests will be a bit more interesting from then on when both the teams secure the next round.
In tournaments like T20 Cricket World Cup, some team is getting all out by 58 runs and some team is getting all out by 77 runs and some teams are regularly scoring below 100 then how can we enjoy these games. Big teams are fielding first when they win the toss against the smaller teams and due to fielding the opposition team gets all out in few runs but here we could have enjoyed atleast one innings if they had batted first. As cricket fans, this is definitely our complaint against the ICC.
