Some people wonder why Vincent Kompany was appointed as the new coach of Bayern Munich even though Burnley were relegated this season. But some news says that Munich has made contact with several other coaches such as Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann, Hansi Flick and Ralf Rangnick but they all refused. Kompany is also an option but he is not the first option. I don't think we can have high expectations for Munich's performance next season. It would be good if Kompany could give a surprise but I think it looks like Kompany will need time to build a squad and find the right game tactics. But I have no doubts about Kompany's training style because Munich plays ball possession and Kompany is a player who has been trained by Guardiola.
To me, I don’t think Komapny is going to be capable of restoring Bayern Munich's performance because Bayern Munich will want to come back aggressively and perform with full energy so they can achieve their goal in the next season, and we all know that Komapny has managed a club before, and we see the result there. And again, managing a squad is different from being trained by a professional coach. I think there will be a difference since he will be managing here, not playing. And the fact that when a manager enters a new team, he will try to know the players way of playing before he strategizes how he will play. This could take some time before things get better for Bayern Munich.
Oh, the pressure on Kompany. But folks, this guy eats pressure for breakfast. He led Manchester City to victory after victory. The guy's a winner. A natural-born winner. And thats what Bayern needs right now.
They need someone who's not afraid to shake things up. Someone who's hungry for success. And thats Vincent Kompany. He's got that fire in his belly. So maybe he doesnt have a ton of managerial experience, but he's got something better. He's got guts. He took Burnley straight back to the Premier League with an attacking style of play that had everyone talking. The guy knows what he's doing.
Are you trying to indirectly say that the former manager is not a success hinder? Because the last time I checked, Kompany was a player, not a coach, and this is something different people are viewing: how Bayern Munich is and how Bayern Munich wants things to get better in a short period of time. When you compare this to Komapny's experience in managing a team, that is what makes people talk. Many of us are thinking he won’t be able to restore the squad in time. However, let’s wait and see what Kompany will do next season.
