Chelsea have moved ahead for their first signing of the summer and this time they got it without spending a penny for Fulham's Tosin Adarabioyo. He plays as a central defender and it seems he is being prepared as a replacement for Thiago Silva, who is leaving Chelsea at the end of this season.
I think Chelsea should often look at the potential of players like Tosin Adarabioyo, especially if they don't spend money on transfers then they can also save money in terms of their spending budget. Tosin Adarabioyo's contract will last for four years and of course this will be a long-term project undertaken by Chelsea.
Congratulations to Chelsea on their first signing, it’s a very good signing, i am surprised how Fulham will let such a talented player go for free, he was exceptional and how on earth will Fulham not try to extend his contract before his contract expires, they could’ve cashed out from his sale. Chelsea are known to be good spenders and they would have paid nothing less than 50m.
He will be a good replacement for Thiago Silva, he is calm and composed just like Silva and already have a premier league experience so it’s good signing for Chelsea i just hope he gives the team balance as Silva did.
It’s not easy to find such talented players as free agents on the market now Chelsea have to proceed in selling some players to avoid the financial fair play situation before adding more players to their squad.
Without any doubt Chelsea done good job, and now they can feel better in absence of Thiago Silva which is going back to Brazil because he one of the best player at his spot and things are good for the new club which is now going to have overhaul into their team for the better results in coming season Fulham bought him from the Manchester City with three years deal with option to extend for the one year and Fulham offer him one more extension, but this was rejected last year.
Now with this transfer he could be able to stay in London for the next four years, and he will be also at his best because most chances he will be having enough playing minutes due to his quality and ability which helps him for staying at the top.
