Why will coaches reject Bayern Munich offer which led to them settling for Kompany. I can see that Bundesliga will soon become a fight for the strongest and not for only one club, just as it use to be in the past. From what I am seeing, is like Bayern Munich might fall out from being on the first two club after the end of next season. This is because there are clubs are improving their performance and looking for a means in which they can win the league. We saw that this past season from Leverkusen, and Leverkusen is still as strong as they are with Xabi Alonso. But Bayern Munich is still facing difficulties with getting a good coach to manage the club for them to be winners next season. It is that the Era of Bayern Munich wants to fade away.
Bayern Munich aren’t so inexperienced to have brought a coach to manage the team without them seeing some potentials in him as the coach of the team. It may still look unbelievable and not something convincing to believe that Kompany will do well for the team as their new head coach, but that will tell if they’ve made the right choice now or not. I would also grade Kompany on a low level cadre to have been able to get this job offer from Bayern Munich but since the decision is coming from a renowned club like Bayern Munich, I’m convinced to believe that they’ve not made any mistake to have chosen him as the new head coach of the team. When season begins, we will see how things will transpire in the club for good or worse.
Some coaches still have contracts with their current clubs, and some coaches may not want to take the pressure of being the manager of one of the world's best clubs. Or because Munich management has a target of becoming Bundesliga champions again, which I don't think many coaches will want to take the risk of being called a bad coach?
There is a lot of pressure that comes to managers that are managing already successful teams when the team are in need of good result to remain at that top level. So it becomes very hard for them to scale through in the midst of this much pressures coming to them. When signing coaches like this for a big task like this one, they should be giving more time before they can finally access their result with the team. Just one trial is not enough to say a coach is bad and can’t manage a club.
