Telling a fib today is considered harmless and most people seem to lie so quickly and are very good at it too. We all know lying isn't good anyway it's being looked at but we all indulge in it and very frequently too. And today, it is considered harmless and a little white lie; almost innocent lol.
Can we as humans ever stop telling lies?
People today lie because convenience may be a little more important than morality to them. Because policy and convenience cannot coexist. I think this is one of the reasons for lying. But there are many other reasons why people lie. In some situations they often lie because they don't want to disappoint someone. But be that as it may, we should refrain from lying even if it is to maintain our social environment and morals.
Yeah if one refrains from telling lies then every function of the society will be conducted according to an ideal and if one follows the path of truth the balance of individual, society and civilization will be maintained. Good ethics and environment depend on the daily activities of people in society.
Since society is a meeting place of people, I have no disagreement with you that the individual behavior and morality of each person in society greatly affects the social environment. All the turmoil or unrest in our family or society is the result of doubts arising from lies. When someone can no longer trust someone, it means that when people go to work, they do not get the information they need due to the influence of lies. So we have to educate families so that lies do not get any chance to enter into our morals.
