Gambling addiction is process in which an individual cannot control their urge in gambling even when they tend to lose. They are willing to sacrifice their most valuable assets with the hope of winning. A story was told of a young man in my community who used his only son for gambling because he was so addicted that he can't do without gambling in a day. he can do anything when it comes to gambling. I also know people who are wealthy today through gambling. So, is it wrong to be too addicted to gambling? how can it be control or how can one manage gambling?
When you gamble you do it responsibly else there is the tendency of getting addicted of course it consequences is very bad and you gave an example of a addicted gambler who used his own son to gamble that is absolutely a bad idea, personally I gamble for fun that is I do budget a fixed and a portion amount of fund from my money to gamble once exhausted that is the end for that month in term of gambling with that I was able to control my gambling activities, though you also gave instance of some wealthy individuals who got rich through gambling I think that should be few compared with majority who losses in gambling.
