Julian Alvarez would definitely be an amazing transfer for PSG without a doubt. He could play at striker, but he could play at wing and he could play even behind the striker as well as advanced midfield too, dude is basically great at multiple positions. Depending on what they need at that moment they could make it work and I believe that it would benefit them a lot.
This will not be a simple thing of course, but I believe that it is going to be not that impossible neither, we are going to see it happen. One hundred million is of course a lot, and I understand why it would be too expensive, even for PSG standards but it is still within the range that they could pay, so I feel like it could very well happen.

Julian Alvarez is still a bit young, while Manchester City prefers players who have very good talent and are still very young and have advantages in various places as you said.
PSG is currently looking for players who have higher talent after Mbappe left because PSG is worried that when Mbappe leaves him his performance will definitely decline so PSG is trying to bring in Julian Alvarez even though I think this will be very impossible.
Coming back to Manchester City, if they are tempted by the big offer from PSG and won't have a problem with Julian Alvarez leaving, that could happen but the only question is whether Julian Alvarez wants to risk his career with PSG who will forever be the rulers of League 1 without being able to win a title better.
