First of all, as the first cryptocurrency to be listed as a backdrop, BTC is the only giant that has experienced a lot of bloodshed even before it grew up, which has also paved the way for its current status.
Bitcoin is not a first cryptocurrency because there are some cryptocurrencies before Bitcoin but Bitcoin is a first successful cryptocurrency.
You used words like bloodshed to try making impressions but I disagree. It can be barrier for people who hate Bitcoin feel hate it more and it can prevent new people to join this market. Bitcoin has gone through many years of fear, uncertainty but it has grown up with time and after 10 years since a first Bitcoin Spot ETF application in the USA, this year we have it in January. It's big milestone for Bitcoin and Bitcoin communities.
Bitcoin first, paved a successful path for Ethereum to be a second cryptocurrency to have its Spot ETFs in the USA. The leadership of Bitcoin is clear and it will continue to be like this. It is more easily to attack, shut down centralized blockchains, projects than doing this with a true decentralized blockchain and project like Bitcoin.
