Arda Guler has a long-term contract with Real Madrid for 6 years and ends in 2029 so he has a lot of time to stay at Real Madrid and he can hone his skills as a professional football player if Carlo Anceloti gives him enough time to play because it's useless if he has honed his skills but has not used them on the field at certain times because that can hide his talent. Carlo Anceloti must believe in the abilities of the players he has, that the players he has have good potential.
I don't like long term contracts like this, you can remember players like Gareth Bale and Isco and how they caged them up, wanting to leave but you can, wanting to play but you can't. I'd rather a four year contract and if it goes well within the last four years then we can extend for another three years.
He needs to play, last time I checked he was a sound player when he played in the Turkish League. I don't care who he plays with or under as long as he remains a club player and work together with the rest of the squad to achieve success then he can work with any coach.
I have seen him play for few minutes and it seems like he has that thing for goalscoring in-between. So far so go, he remains the first player from the Turkish side to have won the Premier League Competition.
Next season? I doubt they'll even give him chances to play, he is more of a soft player and there'll high intensity football from next season. I can see Real Madrid working for Alphonso Davies already.
