it would have not been anyone's concern in an ideal case where the law allows it and the practice isn't frowned at by the merit of people but in a case where it's against the law of the land to engage in a gay or lesbianic activity, then it's no longer a matter of everyone having the right to live whichever way he/she pleases.

Understand that the life you live doesn't just affect you alone, it affect a lot of people that are close to you way more than it even affects you.
