Gambling addiction is process in which an individual cannot control their urge in gambling even when they tend to lose. They are willing to sacrifice their most valuable assets with the hope of winning. A story was told of a young man in my community who used his only son for gambling because he was so addicted that he can't do without gambling in a day. he can do anything when it comes to gambling. I also know people who are wealthy today through gambling. So, is it wrong to be too addicted to gambling? how can it be control or how can one manage gambling?
I wouldn't call gambling bad because not everyone gambles for money. There are also many who gamble for both money and entertainment. But addiction is completely negative. You can see but I have not seen addicted gamblers win big and there is no guarantee that even if they win big they will be able to keep it. Only gambling does not necessarily make a person addicted. Gambling can be managed without becoming an addiction. Big wins can also be achieved by practicing responsible gambling. However, those who gamble regularly or devote more time to a gambling activity are more likely to become addicted. Small wins can be retained by managing responsible gambling where getting addicted to big wins should be prohibited.
