These players earn more from their clubs than they do from the national side, and the spirit of patriotism in Nigeria has died down, so you will not expect these players to give their all playing for Nigeria knowing that they could jeopardize their chances of playing a whole season for their clubs, thus reducing their club value. That is a nightmare for some of these players and not what they want, so they are always careful when they play for the national side because, to some of them, it is not worth it.

The only two players who have been inspirational to me in how they play for Nigeria are Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman, they put their minds into the game, and you can just see it.
