PSG once had a dream squad, but failed to achieve their goal of winning the Champions League trophy. Mbappe departure to Real Madrid marks the end of the most luxurious squad that PSG has ever built. In my opinion, now they have to change their transfer style which likes to bring in star players. If Luis Enrique is given full trust to organize the PSG squad according to his wishes, there is a chance for PSG to win the Champions League trophy in the coming seasons.
Losing Mbappe is a big loss, both financially and in terms of strength. PSG must let it go and focus on building a more collective squad, without relying and depending too much on just one star player. It's clear it won't be easy to find a replacement close to Mbappe level, Osimhen and Rahsford might be the right options if PSG still want instant impact. In fact, PSG can start orbiting more academy players, to create their own golden generation, usually they love the club more than players who were recruited from other teams who are paid high salaries.
Psg has quite healthy finances, I think they will continue their tradition of building a squad by buying quality players. In this season transfer market alone, several names of top players from various leagues have been linked with PSG, such as Osimhen and Julian Alvarez. Losing Mbappe is of course detrimental to PSG because he is an influential player in the team. But it is time for PSG to not only depend on one player but they must be united to produce a more impressive game and be able to achieve their target of becoming champions in the Champions League.
Well, I agree that if PSG changed their performance in the transfer market where they only focused on talented players, not famous players, of course the process would be more efficient to build the squad slowly in order to achieve success. Losing Mbappe will certainly have an impact on their style of play, but Luis Enrique must quickly resolve this before next season starts again.
