Lukaku's still got it. The guy's a goal-scoring machine. Okay, maybe he's not 25 anymore, but experience matters. Chelsea's not giving him away for peanuts, and thats smart business. Napoli wants him? Great. But they gotta pony up. This isnt some garage sale. Lukaku's a superstar. Now, if he's against Saudi Arabia, that limits his options. But a talent like that doesnt stay on the bench for long.
Something will happen. Maybe another team steps up. Maybe Chelsea realizes what they've got. The transfer window is crazy. Anything can happen. But one thing's for sure: Lukaku's too good to be sitting around.
I mean the problem is that Arda has people who are quite young on the same place as he normally plays. Like if he was a right back, then I would say put him into the bench and anytime Carvajal can't play then he would play and then when Carvajal retires or leaves then Arda would take his place. But arda is a midfielder, he could possibly play at right wing too, or advance midfield but those are it.
At the same places, they have Camavinga, Valverde, Tchouameni, Jude, Rodrygo, and Modric for a while longer as well. Maybe I am even missing some names. I am not saying they should sell him, dude is a great player and all but it is clear that we are talking about a player who will not have that much time when they have these players and it is going to be tough. At the very least he is young so we could maybe see him get some time when he grows older, he is only 19 years old and already played some, I bet that he will play more and more from the bench with more time.
