No matter how much I want a Jurassic Park, I say it shouldnt happen. Why? Simply because keeping animals in captivity is wrong.
What load of BS? Sometimes, keeping animals in captivity is necessary to save them from extinction. Check the case of Siberian tigers. There are only around 100 of them out there in the wild. However, the captive population number around 4,000. If not for the gene pool inputs from the captive population, the tigers might have died out long ago in the wild.
It's funny how some people think keeping animals in captivity in a zoo is wrong. Newsflash; wild animals
die and suffer all the time. It's tough to be an animal in the wild. They don't have morals or a social security system, their life isn't some happy wild roam of dreams...
It depends on what sort of captivity. Some animals would probably be extinct or very near so if we hadn't put some of them in captivity. Of course, the reason they're almost extinct is probably our own fault, but at least some people are trying to correct the mistakes we've made as a spaecies.
