A young player like Vitor Roque should not bother Barcelona, if Barcelona have a long-term plan. Barcelona should start planning for the long term now. Because it is unlikely that Barcelona will improve very quickly. Barcelona are now in a financial crisis. So Barcelona management can't make big funds to buy players. Barcelona cannot improve quickly without buying talented and experienced players.
Flick is an experienced coach. Flick should definitely plan for the long term and try to gradually stabilize the Barcelona squad. Barcelona may not be able to dominate La Liga next season, but if the team is stable, Barcelona can return to their old form and challenge any big team. Youngster Vitor Roque was added to the squad by Barcelona at a cost of 40 million. Flick should try to make a talented player like Roque more experienced.
Agree with what you say, Barcelona can start from the bottom again by recruiting young players who have good potential, because their finances do not support them at all in being able to bring in more experienced players because they have to spend a lot of money to get those players. Young players are getting a lot of attention now and they already have some good young players, so they should try again.
This is a choice they can make, because after all they are having a hard time now, so they have to think realistically instead of forcing themselves which could make them more chaotic in the future. A coach definitely wants the best for his team by bringing in important players, but management can discuss that and provide understanding for the coach. I think the coach will accept it, so he will think again about implementing other options that can make the team even better without spending a lot of money.
Well to start up in the first place I think searching for young player is actually what made them blessed with the genius of Leo Messi and believe it doesn't get any better than that as a coach because knowing full well that there are some guys in your squad that's actually loaded with lots of talent to play the ball it makes your job even as a coach a whole lot easier. But Barcelona really needs to do something about their game play and with finding new young talent I mean they could ask the former french coach of arsenal @wegner, I think he can give them a detailed break down about the importance of securing young talent than going for already established players.
