Arteta is actually quite mature in improving the mentality of Arsenal players after experiencing the many failures they experienced in the UCL and also in the domestic league, I believe they are much more ready to compete next season, Manchester City also definitely feels that there will be changes at Arsenal that could be a difficult team in the UCL next season, I just want to see how Arteta can improve the quality of his players and also add some good players to their main squad after the new season starts.

I also saw them fighting hard to win trophies in the domestic league as well as in the UCL, but they didn't look good enough in their mentality as champions last season, ahead of this new season I'm sure they are quite ready to give a new breakthrough representing the team from England that will next season, Arteta's challenge is to maintain consistency and also rotate players so they can be consistent in facing every opponent they will face both in the domestic league and in the UCL next season. Arteta doesn't want to continue experiencing failure again next season. a team will become great and strong after experiencing many failures and I believe in Arsenal next season they will show their best performance.
He doesn't act like a "boss" that many managers do, he acts like a leader among the group. There are two type of managers, one of them is the "manager" style where they act like they are the boss and the players are below that person and they must follow his orders, like they are some sort of general that gives out commands.

And there are managers like arteta, pep, xabi, ancellotti and many more successful ones, who ends up being in there with the players, see themselves equals, be in the same fight, and just show some leadership. That is the type of manager that makes a good return, those days where Mourinho type of boss level managers are gone, players do not respect those managers anymore and that's why teams with those managers end up failing and losing now.
