Glad to see the Blues made the right decision in dropping their interest in acquiring Osimhen from Napoli. I really appreciate that. Based on his performance this season, osimhen is extremely erratic following the decline of his performance after napoli won serie a in the previous season. Osimhen will be another Nkuku. I'd rather pick Sesko instead of Osimhen.

Some disadvantages of targeting osimhen.

- Expensive - Inconsistent - High risk of injury

The blues could have learned a lot from what happened to the nkuku. Nkuku appeared in a few games, although he was injured for much the entire season. It would be extremely stupid for Chelsea to make the same error again.

The fact that Osimhen is prone to injury is the most essential factor here.  Chelsea will not spend 100 million on an injury-prone player like him.

And also remember he is going to the English premier league from the Italian league. in the English Premier League, the physical aspect of football is going to be much higher and much more needed. So he will be much more injury-prone in Chelsea. This is probably one of the biggest reasons why I think this is a great decision that was taken by Chelsea. And the money that they are spending for him, they can get other great players with that amount of money. When the money is so big, there are a lot of options. And they need to consider those options

Yes, I totally agree to this decision taken by Chelsea, because I really don't like the idea of splashing out 100million plus anytime they want to sign a quality player, though victor osimhen is a very good player no doubt, and he will definitely improve the attack of Chelsea, but splashing out 100million plus on him, at this particular time that financial fair play is currently breathing on their neck, is definitely not a  wise thing to do, so keeping off from such transfer is very important, and it shows that the new owners of Chelsea are finally learning.

As for the injuries he always have, I think it's a valid reason for Chelsea not to go for this deal, because it's actually very painful as an investor to invest so much on a player, then he will always be injured, even when the team needed him the most, he might not even be available due to injuries, so it a very valid reason to me if they stay off from this particular transfer.

The injury concern has definitely played the biggest part in this deal. But at the same time, the performance from him has also not been the best in recent seasons. Of course, the whole team of Napoli did not perform well. That is not his fault alone. But his performance was also not something to really admire. Especially when you realize that his market value is around 100 million.
