Like you saw other losses to claim that this is the worse one ? I would laugh if NY Athletic Commission would turn this fight as "Haney win by disqualification" in the end. A guy drop you on the butt three times, but you still win. If Haney would really get a clear record after that, I hope he wont be proud of that and never claim that he is undefeated. To make thing fair, this time Haney should have (or have not) taken something and Ryan to be as clean as possible Probably worse because he thought Haney couldn't lose. But I have no question about Haney's decision to complain, and the current developments are favoring him. It seems Ryan really took illegal substances to gain a big edge in that fight. What Ryan did is null and void if he is proven guilty of what he is accused of, so he better accept the punishment if everything is proven. Most likely, it will be a suspension, which we fans of him don't want to see.
But just like what most boxing pundits earlier thought that Ryan Garcia's win over Haney will be turned into a no-contest, until now nothing happened. If Ryan took illegal substances that are over the limit then he would've been suspended by the NSAC and the decision would've been turned into a draw. I remember Ryan was given 7 or 9 days to prove himself clean. And it weeks already since that deadline. I believe Ryan is now clean. Or maybe not 100% clean but tolerable as per the rules of doping.
Haney should just move on and stop shitting on his pants the next time he gets hit by someone his own size at fight night.
Just taking some time for NYAC or even WBC to make a move and suspend Ryan and declare the fight NC. And obviously they know how big their decision is as Ryan hired a good lawyers to really make a case against the governing bodies and maybe at the end of it all, probably Ryan will get a suspension and still continue with this career and hopefully he can become a world champion again. Still the future looks bright for this young kid, the money that he is going to make, the fame and everything. Although it seems that he can't handle all of it as he had history of mental breakdowns specially the vandalizing case file against him by some hotel.
