Why ask? The issue isn't even specific and can be "solved" by syncing Bitcoin Core.
If you have a wallet.dat file that you know is encrypted with a strong password, it wouldn't be a bad idea to let it sync with Bitcoin Core's new version.
Now, if there's bitcoins in it and you want to be on the safer side, do not type your password on an online machine.
