Unfortunately, Italian teams have not raised the Champions League since 2010, but it must also be said that in the following years there was a chance to win several times with Juventus and Inter last year. Unfortunately they didn't manage to raise it, but I believe that in the years to come and with all these new owners of the top Italian clubs, Inter Juventus and Milan will have further chances to win the Champions League. At least I hope so
Italian teams are not weak. However, they are not interested in spending a lot of money on squad formation. So even though the performance of Italian teams is stable, none of the Italian teams have a squad strong enough to win the Champions League title.
Inter Milan and Juventus are strong teams. And their management is rich enough. If these two clubs target the Champions League title and form squads, then these two teams will be able to dominate the Champions League. But they will not be interested in spending huge amounts to buy players. They will form a stable squad. But I don't think they will try to build a very strong squad.
This should be done by the Italian team if they really want to win the UCL trophy next season, because the competition there is quite tight because there are lots of strength changes in the main squad of each team that has qualified for the UCL next season. Inter Milan and Juventus do have the money but unfortunately Juventus still haven't been able to reach the UCL final, while Inter Milan managed to reach the UCL final last season, that's why they don't actually have many well-known players but they focus on a fairly strong defense line.
I also haven't seen many changes at Juventus and they should be able to have many more productive players from this season, after Allegri leaves Juventus should be able to look for and recruit new players to fill new strength in Juventus' main squad next season in the hunt for the domestic league next season Likewise for the UCL match next season, I think Juventus does have enough money to bring in the best players for their main squad. I hope they make many changes next season and I as a supporter certainly hope that Juventus can perform better in the new season.
