Dortmund is not given nearly enough credit by most. They have made it to the finals twice, they are strong and resilient. Twice! That is no accident. They have a terrific roster, a capable coach, and they can only improve.
Those Champions League groups are nasty now. With the greatest teams in the world vying for attention, one poor game may send you packing. I do, however, believe Dortmund. Given their talent and heart, I wouldn't be shocked to see them lift that trophy the following season. Folks, never forget that it goes beyond the victories and losses. The will to win, the tenacity, and the guts are what count. Dortmund has plenty of that.
Dortmund doesn't have the ambition for that, they haven't built a team that is stronger than before and that has continued to happen in the past few seasons so don't ever hope that Dortmund will be stronger next season.
Dortmund's success in entering the final twice in the last few seasons is worthy of appreciation, but I don't think Dortmund needs to be too favored to be able to do it again, this team is strong but not as strong as other teams which have much bigger ambitions than Dortmund.
