I don't think his injury can be an excuse because there are many players who play in Italy who are also successful in England. The cause of player injuries is that the coach forces himself to play too much so that fatigue and injury are prone to occur.
The Premier League is competitive and the tough style of play will make it difficult for some players to adapt, but I am sure Osimhen can overcome that when he plays in England.
Salary issues can be negotiated and perhaps decisions can be made after an agreement has been reached with both parties.
If Osimhem fails to play in England then I want him to play at PSG because maybe there it will be a much better fit.
Any decision will affect Osimhen's future and if he stays at Napoli I'm not sure he will thrive again.
I really do not think that the English Premier League would have been the best choice for him. Because first of all, I start thinking about the last few players who have gone to the English Premier League from the Italian League. The recent record has not been great. Injury concerns definitely played a part. The biggest concern is probably him not being worthy of 100 million.
If he goes to PSG, it is probably not going to be much better from where he is right now. But it is worth a shot.
Injuries are a risk for all players, wherever they compete. IMO, Osimhen deserves to compete in a more competitive league, namely the Premier League. I just read the latest rumors from TeamTalk, which quoted Italian media reporting that talks had opened regarding Osimhen. On the same page, a number of Italian media reports reported that representatives of the Nigerian player had spoken with Arsenal to discuss the prospect of a move to North London. Additionally, Arsenal have reportedly asked Napoli to accept a fee approaching €100 million if a deal is to go through. which means there is a decrease in the value that Napoli wants for their striker, Arsenal's offer may be a consideration whether Napoli will accept it or not. It could also be, if this rumor is just mere gossip made up by the sports media. because I cannot confirm the validity of this news.
However, as quoted by the newspaper I read, if Osimhen wants to play in England then Arsenal is the one who has now given him the most realistic option by competing in the Champions League. although maybe PSG can do more, the Premier League is what Osimhen wants. Currently the market price for big name players is fantastic, especially the striker position, Osimhen is quite worthy of the price that Arsenal wants. He is also a very productive player as a pure striker. I would be happy as a supporter if the Gunners had a striker they could rely on. Whether this news is true or not, we'll see how it develops.
