Bayer Leverkusen lost against Atalanta is one important thing for them as a team, especially for Xabi Alonso as a manager. I believe this could give Bayer Leverkusen a lesson, we know that there is no perfection in any team. So, maybe from this loss Bayer Leverkusen will learn a lot, and ready to give their all abilities for the next season, this is what i am talking about before, so we need to see surprise from Leverkusen and this will be a big surprise for everyone.
A big disappointment from the Bayer Leverkusen after standard well right from the beginning of the season and make every fans be proud of them with how they keep their performance so strong and also remain unbeaten, but later relax at the end of the season and give Atlanta a better chance to win them, which was a big surprise to me and everyone.
Because of the way they keep their performance maintained, nobody expects that they will be a team that can defeat them this season, but Atlanta makes that possible by giving Bayern Leverkusen so much pressure because they show them that nobody knows all. I think this will be a lesson for them, they have to take corrections to the mistake they made earlier to avoid repeat the same mistake next season.
No one would believe that Leverkusen will be defeated by Atalanta be ause of their outstanding performance in all their matches. But after the match when I checked head to head of Atalanta and Leverkusen clashes, I found out that it was not a match that one can just give Leverkusen the win. This is because Atalanta have only won Leverkusen twice and Leverkusen also won them twice in their last five matches.
This shows that Atalanta from onset was a strong amd difficult team for Leverkusen to win,and that came into play on the final day. Will I say that Xabi did not prepare properly or what he saw on the pitch was bigger than him, which made it impossible for him to come up with any strategy to outsmart Atalanta game pattern.
