Aside the champions league competition where Xabi Alonso and his team will have to play and prove themselves as champions, they also stand in a tough competition in the league because their biggest rivals Bayern Munich changed their coach and is ready to challenge them to take back the league champions from them, they will have a double fight to fight because they are already in so many competitions already. Xabi Alonso is not new to the champions league competition even though his team is I think he's going to work towards imperting the experience he has to his team Nd make sure the team has a perfect outing in the champions league, the coach will also need to put the performance of his key players in check and ensure they have a solid team that is ready to face a tough season since they will be defending their league title, the DFB cup title and they are also going to experience playing in the champions league where they will have bigger opponents to compete with, the team should get more players to solidify the team of they are lacking anything when the league has not started already.
Vincent Kompany and Bayern Munich are massively making quality additions to improve the squad ahead of the new season. They've just made conclusion with the new defender they signed up. In the next few days it would be completing the deal for Fulham defensive midfielder who was the best and highest when it comes to tackling in the Premier League Competition last season.
I want to see if Vincent Kompany is enough for the task. I'm not saying he is not good enough, but he doesn't seem tactically better than Xabi Alonso.
I hope they don't disappoint Harry Kane no more this upcoming season.
He's played too many games in the Champions League Competition and he has a good knowledge of how intense every round gets. I do not expect him to be knocked out too early. Most likely the Semi finals would be the last place we see him. Still not smiling he couldn't win the three trophies this season.
I get the doubts about Kompany. He did an admiral job keeping Burnley in the league, but Bayern Munich is completely different. Leverkusen and Dortmund are also not playing around. This Bundesliga season is gonna be a dogfight, way more exciting than we've seen in years. The real question is, can Kompany handle the heat? Especially in light of Dortmund's incredible Champions League run just ended. Bayern's got the players, no doubt. Make them click, however, is Kompany's job. This season may go crazy if he can't
