11 goals and 7 assists in total in the past season and 13 goals in the prior season. He is able to play as a defensive midfielder at the same time. I think he is a wonderful transfer for Girona in short. It looks like they have no intention to have a weaker squad next time.

Krejci is only a defender, but if you look deeper, he is actually more suited to being a midfielder who can provide assistance to strikers to score and his achievements really exceed those of defenders who usually always focus on defending the defense line, but Krejci has skills which always helps the team to get a winning score.
€12 million is not something big and is commensurate with the talent that the player has and it could still very easily be a good investment in the future and I think Girona should immediately formalize Krejci as a Girona player because if not, there will definitely be another big team which will give you a bigger offer.
I imagine that when Girona becomes stronger after bringing in quality players, La Liga competition will definitely get tougher and Barcelona might also come under a little pressure.
