Unai Emery has done a fantastic job at Aston Villa but you have to question, is it sustainable? Maybe they will suffer with the pressure of CL games. Their squad maybe isn’t that strong so with the extra games against high quality opposition maybe they get fatigued and injuries come.
It’ll be really interesting to follow, I hope they continue to do well but we will see.
But looking at the actual experience Emery has always been able to ease the situation into an advantage even though it comes from a difficult situation because even though for now Emery is not too flashy in terms of achievement but he is an experienced coach even before in La Liga he has brought Villarreal to get the Europa Leageu trophy and the Champions League semi-finals.
So for now I don't think there will be too much of a problem with their performance next season because even though they might not survive in the Champions League when compared to some other clubs in the EPL but I think Aston Villa will still be very troublesome next season.
Emery sometimes doesn't really need one player who stands out in the squad but they can always play very well for teamwork and this is what always stands out and has always been shown by Emery in his leadership at several clubs he has coached including for Aston.
