I would not make any judgment already. Maybe he will be successful, maybe he will face some difficulties. But I believe even if he is bringing in the similar kind of result that Xavi was bringing in, he should not be under a lot of pressure. Without money, there is no point in just keep changing the coach. And the decision of firing Xavi was not a very good one. But that decision has been made. I hope they understand that if they keep changing the coach, the result is not suddenly going to improve.
Xavi was under a lot of pressure despite winning the league and finishing second the next season. A coach at Barcelona will always be on a lot of pressure. The fact that the club don't have enough money won't be an excuse. This summer Barcelona are going to give Flick the signings that he needs. They may not give him luxurious signings and give him a team where his players can be heavily rotated, but he's going to have a good squad that he can work with.
The media makes things look worst for Barcelona and I believe they'll use that to their favour.
Remember when the English media spread rumours that Barcelona are so broke they might go bankrupt? That window they spent over 250 million on transfers. Now things are begining to look better for them, they're not as bad as it was. I keep saying it, Barcelona just need few signings to get back on the right track.
