It’s a wall of text really but, you did your not in breaking it for an easy read.
Somehow, am not surprised at how Bitcoin seems to come to limelight in times when America would be preparing for the polls. I think similar situations came to light in the polls that saw Biden in. Trump might have been such a force behind this one, haven’t to publicly advocate for Bitcoin and would be accepting donations as well.
Something I don’t think would be the case for public office and offices is this proposal;
On the legal and municipal front, Miami is leading a localized revolution with its pro-Bitcoin stance. Mayor Francis Suarez has proposed paying city employees in Bitcoin and enabling residents to pay taxes using the cryptocurrency. These initiatives could set a precedent for other American cities, potentially ushering in a new era of Bitcoin as a medium of everyday transactions. The ripple effect of such policies could significantly enhance Bitcoin's integration into the mainstream financial system.
There isn’t a way in which, a state would abandon its currency to accept taxes and pay its city employees (public officers) with Bitcoin. It would be abandoning the dollar which wouldn’t be. Fiat has got its place in governance which can’t be filled by Bitcoin. It doesn’t matter how we look at it, most of all, the dollar! While the City might buy Bitcoin for an investment, paying city staff with it isn’t going to be the case.
