Roma doesn't have any big ambitions at all, that's why management decided to keep De Rossi. Statistically, Roma's current performance is no better than during Jose Mourinho's time, so there is nothing extraordinary that De Rossi can do. I am pessimistic about the team from the Italian capital, they will stumble again and find it difficult to reach the top five positions. For next season, the competition will be much more difficult because several other big teams have also started to move towards real changes. Juventus, Milan and Napoli will again be strong teams and challengers for the Scudetto.
Great ambition in what sense? The performance that De Rosi has shown this season is ultimately still very good so why should Roma change coaches when De Rosi's performance is still reliable until now.
Indeed, when talking about the final results this season they could not have more results because they remained in 6th place in Serie A but the improvement by being in the Europa League and losing in the Semi-finals was actually quite good in my opinion and indeed it was obtained from a coach who was initially very doubtful when replacing Mou, who in terms of experience Mou was very superior but seeing what De Rosi did in the end made them get a new opportunity.
There is no reason for Roma to change in their current condition which is still a little difficult financially so there is no problem if they keep De Rosi and give him the opportunity to develop next season.
