At the moment, Bayern's defensive purge is still going on where it now looks like Kompany will continue to look for defenders according to the criteria he wants and that will clearly make the situation of defenders like De Ligt and Kimmich upset.
Now Manchester United just need to negotiate well because with a few tempting offers then I think De Ligt will be released.

He is one of the defenders who in my opinion is quite good especially when he was at Juventus but when his move to Bayern with a record is quite expensive for a defender he just doesn't really fit into the existing coaching scheme which makes his performance even lower especially when he is always kept on the bench. This will make De Ligt's departure easy especially now that Jonathan Tan is getting closer and Hiroki Ito has certainly joined Bayern's defense next season.
