Hi guys, I am 19 years old and know a lot about finance (ETFs, funds, crypto, stocks, commodities)
I have been Bitcoin swing trading for a year and I am still not profitable. I would like to be self-employed as an investor or trader after my IT education. Does trading really work in the long term to be profitable?
you need iether skillset or wealth for you to create more wealth.
Trading is for people that have the needed skills and that still have the capital that's required of them to get started in trading.
If you're not strong enough to handle looses, maybe you shouldn't consider going into trading but if you have things figured out and if you have been in the trading space for a handful of years and have gathered the basic trading experience, then this question is unnecessary.

Getting rich doesn't generally mean that you have to be on this space. There are super rich people that are in other sector that has nothing to do with crypto. If it's not your thing to create wealth through crypto, then it's best you identify which area will work best for you and stick to it. It could be business, IT, education, agriculture or any other field.
