On the other hand, I'm pretty sure England can qualify as group winners easily, but their next journey will not be easy. Of course they have good squad depth in almost every line, but Southgate must find a strategy to win the match easily. Next England will face Denmark, they have to do it in a better way.
One goal may have been enough to defeat Serbia, but one goal may not be enough to defeat Denmark. I expected more goals from England, and I must say that the one goal in their first game is disappointing but a progress from their last friendly game where they lost. The performance of England has to improve, the competition will be tougher and if they will win this competition, one goal will not be enough against the big teams. England should be scoring as many goals as Spain and Germany.
True, I was quite shocked seeing them win with just a goal, this is not the England team i know though if they can really try not to concede then a goal is just enough to continue moving don't forget Spain win 2010 world Cup with just 8 goals in the entire tournament whereas a team of such could have been expected to score more goals.
