These youngsters are indeed tech ninjas. They rule Fortnite lobbies and can break Wi-Fi. That does not mean, however, they have the wisdom to deal with the real-world consequences from their activities. Do they understand the crushing weight of debt or the slippery slope of internet gambling? No, hell no. We cannot expect they will solve it by the time their mortgages are due. That's bullshit! It is on us to teach our children and have those awkward talks with them. We have to establish limits, educate them about financial accountability, and equip them to make wise decisions

This is not about being the "cool parent" able to floss with perfection. It's about serving as a mentor, a guide, a wise leader. It's about arming them with the tools to not only survive but flourish in this digital age

Your last line is incredible and a must implement for most parents. These kids are tech savvies and could get around any digitalized computing tool or app. Harnessing this privilege as a parent and fixing them somewhere they could fit-in would be a nice investment for the family. Because they'll never disappoint once it's tech related. The opportunity to this is all over the web, not that the parents need to be there to spoonfeed them on what to do on the internet.

Sites like Udemy is filled with courses including coding which could attract a child's interest to learn. Companies like Apple are always on the look for tech savvy people to join their company, and code on operating systems. However, the challenge could also be that kids don't always stick around things that wouldn't yield them immediate money. That's why online video games still figure out ways to tip their players, which consists of kids, some money. Yet with the right advice and samples of people who are doing perfectly well financially with the course they're learning, the child will stay focused and learn, knowing he'd be big in future.
