Successive failures in the last two seasons have left Arsenal deeply disappointed, they almost won it, but due to mistakes made towards the end of the season, the EPL trophy belonged to Manchester City. Arteta has succeeded in making Arsenal a team capable of competing in the title race, but as a result of not being able to consistently maintain their performance, they had to settle for finishing as runners up.
Even though they are now an elite team in the EPL, Arsenal is still not able to become an outstanding team. I don't really hope that Arsenal can win the UEFA title because it is not easy to win because there are so many elite teams participating there. Arsenal must form a mentality in their players to win the EPL trophy as capital to continue their success at European level.
Arteta needs to build a strong mentality in his players so that they can survive in achieving success in the Premier League.
Last season they collected points that were far from Manchester City, but entering the second half of the season at the end of the competition lost so many points that Manchester City chased and managed to get the Premier League trophy.
This season was repeated in a different style where Arsenal lost several wins in important matches so that Manchester City again took over at the top of the standings.
Arteta must build a mentality for Arsenal players because if not next season they will also experience the same thing.
Arteta has indeed succeeded in making Arsenal a title contender, but this is not enough because of two consecutive failed seasons. Competing next season will be much more difficult because several other clubs have also built strength like them.
