This is right. That's why a lot of altcoins are popping up and obviously, this is to gather money from investors/traders who are also want quick money. And, I think choosing the best altcoin to invest in is hard if there is no knowledge on how to check if they are legit or not.
Something promising altcoins would be on the CMC top 50 and most of them have potential and their value would increase much in the future.
The fact that most new investors are always looking for quick profits makes meme coin and shit coin creators more confident in creating and running their scams because they know that all they need to do is to do some marketing and people will start investing in them if they make some fake promises of high returns and great potential profits because newbie investors are mostly looking for high profits for low investments and they jump in when they find an opportunity.
So people need to understand that they aren't going to get a lot of money from every cryptocurrency they see in the industry, especially when those projects and their creators are making fake promises that investors will get a lot of profit because they can't know what will happen and they are just luring them to make investments.
