I don't know how far you followed up the premier league next season but I don't think that Arsenal lacked quality players at all because the likes of Bukayo Saka, Trossard, Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz they are all professional and intelligent players and their performance in the EPL can attest to that, the only problem Arsenal has is their inability to withstand a stronger opponent in the Champions league if not they did well in the group stage matches last season.
Sure next season champions league will be so full of competition since Real Madrid is now the eyes of every one due to their outstanding performance but what would be would be because even if Real Madrid has the highest squad now but one mistake can ruin their chances of even making it to the final stages because any team they would meet in the group stages would want to prove difficult in order to stop Madrid from advancing but with the current squad of Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jnr, am afraid if any team can be able to conquer Madrid.

Next season will be another interesting Champions League season because we will have Bayer Leverkusen that finished the Bundesliga season unbeaten, we will have a well composed Manchester City, and an Arsenal with a striker follow by Inter Milan and other teams that would have strengthened their squad in the transfer window all to face a Madrid with Mbappe and other deadly wingers. , let's just say Arsenal is a good team which luck is always against mostly in small games 
although they need to work on the communication within the team..About the next UCL, I think Realmadrid is pushing everyone to doing some redress because next UCL might be a very hard game... maybe, maybe not we'll all witness it soon
You can read the comment below and know what the person is saying but all I know is that Arsenal is not a lazy team just like what you said, the club is just being unlucky for some seasons now but doesn't necessarily mean that they ain't trying their possible best. If we compare the performance of Arsenal in the past two seasons you will know that the team have improved a lot unlike when Arsene Wenger was using the club to do business of building quality players and selling them off.
This just past season has fought some teams lesson especially Arsenal for thinking that lack of striker and some inexperienced players will not affect them in the Champions League; .
The champions league will be very Epic next season, however we can't underestimate the capacity of other clubs to win the title even though Real Madrid have the highest odds and stakes but the reverse may be the case if they don't apply carefulness. I thought you would get it right a way but not bad actually ... I don't see anything special about realmadrid , Mancity had more and still lost the championship to Realmadrid, fine they're okay even without Mbappe but every seem to think Mbappe is like making them 150% upto the task..for sure no doubt but still all Speculations we need a proof of what they a3e actually capable of to make conclusions.
