In this season, Liverpool must be absent for participating in Champion League after failure reach the top fourth standings position finish but for next season new manager Arne Slot get opportunity after Jurgen Klopp leaving his position and finish on 3rd place. Since winning the Champion League season 2018/19, Liverpool performance not quit well and difficult reach the higher level until final round on season 2021/22 but Liverpool defeated by Real Madrid.
I am actually scared for Liverpool to have come this far in football and have nothing to show for it in recent times. Klopp had retired voluntarily and that is a big disappointment to Liverpool because I’m sure they were not expecting him to leave them just like that. Now that they have a new coach, I am still not confident in him making Liverpool great like they use to be. We hope he can improve their performance and not make them lose hope in the fight for the title once again as they did in the last season.
A big dogs in football especially in the UEFA Champions League but you will never underestimate the power and enthusiasm of the Liverpool team and their fans LFC can strike back anytime and when they strike back its impact is very hard.
Enough of the praises on them, we need to see action when the competition begins. They’ve failed to show up for several seasons now and that made me curious why they don’t strike back as they use to in the past. We want to see a more competitive champions league fight and it can only be possible if most of this teams show competency and strength in fighting other top teams to make the competition more interesting to follow. Let Liverpool show that they can too.
