It is very difficult to consistently perform well in the Champions League if the squad is not strengthened enough. Xabi Alonso is an experienced coach no doubt. An experienced coach as well as a strong squad is needed to continue to perform consistently well. But I am not sure if the Leverkusen management will take the necessary steps to strengthen their squad. Because the Leverkusen management is not rich enough.
