And would you agree with him in implementing gambling prevention education in schools?
Honestly things are not really the way it should be as to this regards, the online gambling platforms even after stating 18 and above such rule are not strict and under 18 are accessing the online gambling platforms where majority are being carried away leading to addiction, it is so bad that even parents my not really have all the time in monitoring their teen. However educational sensitization will be lead way of reducing this act because I know it can not easily and completely eradicated but it should be included in the school curriculum or syllabus as a subject of it's own , where the students can be able to know more about gambling even before they becomes 18 and above.
Gambling education is still necessary at least they know what this is all about. But we don't just let the school create a program to educate students, it is also the responsibility of the parents to educate them. Proper guidance of the parents is more important and has a key role in proper gambling understanding. Maybe we could blame these online gambling sites but it should not be that way because if these kids gain proper education they will know what the possible consequences will happen to them.
However, it is too hard to stop kids (young people) from gambling if they want. We can stop them only if the sites implement strict rules on registration through KYC first where those below 18 are not allowed.
Majority of the parents hardly have enough time with their teens hence they become prone and vulnerable to certain things that were supposed to have averted if proper parental care are taken not only gambling, most parents shy away from having some kind of conversation with their which are ravaging teens in the society at large, home to an extend is where primary education should be done, although having knowledge about gambling at teen age is not completely bad as it gives an early awareness about gambling but the abuse of it can lead to addiction when it is too early.
